We are looking for Cable Splicing Technicians and/or Crews to join our team. You will be teamed with an technician who will complete all of your balancing once you have spliced the amp or line extender. Once you have completed your splice, you will continue to the next location as your partner balances the device. On the job training is provided.

*MUST have Valid Driver's License and Required Tools for the job.
*MUST also have or be willing to lease Bucket Truck (standard pickup/van w/ladder rack will work)

PAY:

• $250 - $400 avg per night,
• Average of 5-8 stations per night

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensures safety protocols are enforced.
• Ability to cold splice overhead and underground coaxial cable.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing coax lines and line equipment.
• Place and install coaxial cable.
• Read blueprints and CATV design maps
• Drafts and submits redlines and splice documentation upon completion of project.
• Ensure that all splices are completed accurately.
• Ensures DOT inspections are performed on equipment where required.
• Works with project managers and internal construction teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Completes all testing documentation and returns as part of project closing requirements.
• Performs quality control inspections and is able to service and maintain equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of telecommunication construction experience and coax splicing
• 1 + years of experience organizing and prioritizing project workloads.
• Must have and maintain a valid drivers license, and remain eligible for DOT requirements.
• Physical requirements may vary based on company needs: occasionally ascends/descends poles, ladders, towers, and other structures as needed to access fiber and routinely moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to successfully pass and maintain a successful background check.
• Proven organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
