Description:
The Title Specialist is responsible for perfecting automotive titles in a timely manner in the correct lending partner name. The Title Specialist will work collaboratively with other production teams to ensure that title processing is done accurately, efficiently, and completed within established guidelines. We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, enjoys a goal driven & fast-paced environment, is enthusiastic to multitask and perform multiple departmental functions, and is always poised and professional. The roles day-to-day duties include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring accurate and efficient perfection of automotive titles for lending partners
- Verifying and auditing loan and title documents for accuracy while monitoring accounts for red flags or potential fraud
- Managing the Title Check Queue
- Providing outstanding customer service (during outbound/inbound calls and while responding to voicemails, emails, and text messages to obtain missing documentation), meeting service level agreements, and de-escalating situations
- Resolving state specific holds to ensure title perfection
- Working accounts to perfection that have been escalated due to age of account
- Learning state specific title laws & requirements for perfecting liens and updating internal processes to align with state titling and form/requirement changes
- Documenting the system of record per applicable policy/procedure
- Providing consistent and timely feedback to management

We are looking for a candidate with 2 to 4 years of financial experience. Someone with 6 to 8 months at US bank or Wells would not be a A+ candidate. Candidates from smaller companies normally do better but am open to bigger companies. Please ask the question about Lien loans, Title loans, and about communication structure. they are a little more laid back then most financial companies and that can cause rifts.
