Position Summary:
Perform paraprofessional job responsibilities by assisting teachers with students grades 6-12 in the JCCC summer youth enrichment classes. Assist with the check-in and check-out of students to help maintain compliance with the youth on-campus procedure, classroom management, room transitions, and lunch supervision. A team of paras will work among the various summer classes and our goal is to have one para per class.
Required Qualifications: Associate's degree or higher or at least sixty (60) semester hours from an accredited institution of higher education
CPR/First Aid certification
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree
One to two years paraprofessional work experience with preK-6th grades in an educational environment
