These are 1st and 2nd shift positions working Monday through Friday and the pay rate offered is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on shift.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Trainer, this position is responsible for transferring a design onto garments using a screenprint or embroidery machine. As a Screen print Machine Operator, you will be responsible for processing orders through preparing garments, programming machine for the design and making quality adjustments as necessary, as well as helping to analyze order to identify design and determine ink colors or threads.
What does a Screen Print Machine Operator do?
- Unloads shirts from platen
- Analyzes orders to identify design and determine ink colors
- Verifies quality of clothing and ink design or thread/fabric color
- Changes screens and ink for specific orders
- Accesses order specifications through computer programs
- Maintains Lakeshirts' acceptable standard of quality per garment
- Keeps work area clean and orderly; organizes workflows
- Works actively with others to get the job done
What do you need to be a Screen Print Machine Operator?
- High school education desirable, but not required
- Tablet or computer experience preferred
- Ability to work well in a team
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well
- Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours
- Ability to be stand for 8-10 hours a day
