Vacancies exist for a Pre-K Counts Teacher to work at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit in the Office of Early Childhood Services. This full-time position provides instruction to children ages 3-5 years old.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA Certification in Early Childhood Education (PK-4) required.
• Knowledge of best practices and experience with differentiation.
• Ability to work with and relate to young children and families of diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in harmony with administrative, instructional, and non-instructional personnel.
• Experience in an early childhood setting preferred.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint Clearances required

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement the curriculum.
• Provide a safe and secure classroom environment that meets the needs of all participating children in the program.

Location:
The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit PreK Counts program has classrooms located throughout Montgomery County, PA. More information on the PreK Counts program can be found at (link removed) This position is located at our Early Learning Academy (1605 W. Main St. Norristown, PA 19401)

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months (194 days/year)

Salary:
Bachelor's/Instructional I: $40,800/year
Master's/Instructional II: $43,860/year
