Position Summary

Serves in a lead role to provide material logistics operations process expertise. Leads and supervises both bargaining and/or non-bargaining unit employees and all activities within Supply Chain Operations, including material storage, material delivery, material processing, fulfillment, accounting, master data and material control. Ensures compliance with applicable SOx controls, audit controls and procedures. Serves as the day-to-day interface for major supplier alliance partners and Field Operation's business partners.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for effective and efficient use of resources and facilities with emphasis on safety, customer satisfaction and required process controls. Coordinates personnel and interfaces with all business units across multiple physical locations. Ensures consistency and clarity with expectations of personnel and that they are being met.
  • Responsible for displaying and inspiring a strong commitment to employee safety, performance, recognition and workforce diversity. Develops leadership to achieve a well-trained, motivated, engaged and empowered workforce. Interprets and administers Bargaining Unit Agreement. Coaches and counsels employees as needed. Disciplines where appropriate.
  • Primary contact and responsible for problem resolution involving material fulfillment, availability, quality and compliance to internal material standards.
  • Provides reports and information to Distribution and Transmission Managers and Directors on material costs, utilization and transactions. Partners with internal customers to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.
  • Develops/implements sound materials management principles and processes to obtain Best in Class performance through an Integrated Logistics model.
  • Ensures integrity of inventory practices through enforcement of relevant policies, procedures and controls. Monitors key control points.
  • Regularly interfaces with Strategic Sourcing and Planner/Buyers to develop and manage effective inventory material acquisition and management strategies.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration or Purchasing and four years Supply Chain experience or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent experience. Willingness and ability to travel.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $79,000.00 to $112,999.00 per year
