The Opportunity

Adobe Commerce is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to propel our Storefront forward.

Working in partnership with Product Management, Engineers, Designers, and Technical Writers, you will be responsible for defining and implementing testing strategies for new applications that bring Commerce functionalities to the Storefront.

This position is located in Austin, TX, USA.

The Opportunity

  • Ensure the quality of Adobe's next generation E-commerce Storefront. Refine and implement a cost effective, balanced QA strategy for new web applications, defining project-level test strategies and story-level test plans.

  • Collaborate. Youll love working in a collaborative environment within and across Engineering, and with other teams like Product Managers, Designers, and Technical Writers.

  • Lead. You'll encourage, mentor, and coach junior developers and interns - helping them increase their technical skills and developing their careers as a whole.

What You Need To Succeed

  • 5+ years experience in professional software development or equivalent practical experience.
  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Understanding and experience testing web applications. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. React knowledge is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with a variety of testing tools - manual tools and automated testing frameworks such as Cypress.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language. JavaScript is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • A growth mindset.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $119,000 -- $232,700 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
