Yext, Inc. seeks Software Engineer, Site Reliability in New York, NY:

Job Duties: Build, modify and maintain web applications and backend solutions with clean, tested, and well-structured code for company enterprise clients. Design, implement, and deploy highly scalable and reliable software systems. Provide solutions to engineering and business stakeholders on best practices, compatibility issues and tradeoffs. Augment development tooling to improve software quality, iteration speed, and maintainability. Work multifunctional with Designer and Project Managers to understand user requirement and product specification, as well as improve developed products and features to ensure functionalities and stability. Develop software in AGILE-Scrum environment including two-week sprints culminating in demonstrations of features in progress. Telecommuting and remote employment permitted. Salary: $153,900 to $213,500.

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related position.

Special Skill Requirements: at least one (1) year in each of the following skills: (1) Software development and testing; (2) writing documentation for software system; (3) Java programming language; (4) Terraform; (5) Postman; (6) Software Development Life Cycle; (7) Debugging and problem-solving for complex tech issue; and (8) Jira.
