Full Time Secondary Vocal and General Music Teacher

Westinghouse Arts Academy is looking to fill a newly created full time Vocal and General Music Teacher beginning in January 2024. Westinghouse Arts Academy is a public charter high school located in Wilmerding, PA. We are an arts-focused school where students major in either a Creative and Performing Arts program.

Qualifications:

• PA Instructional I or II in Music PK-12.
• Bachelors degree in education or related area
• Ability to use technology for teaching and learning purposes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Piano proficiency to accompany multiple styles of music and effectively play open scores.
• Desire to work in a team environment and contribute to a culture of acceptance and innovation.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $56,450.00 per year
