About The Team

Sales Operations

At GBG, our Sales Operations Team is the heartbeat behind our success in our GTM structure. This group seamlessly interweaves project management, sales enablement, and sales order processes. The Sales Ops team drives efficiency by optimizing sales strategies, and ensuring that our customers experience the very best from the moment they show interest to the final stages of order fulfillment. By fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, we ensure that our sales force is empowered, well-supported, and always steps ahead in meeting the needs of our customers.

The role

We are seeking a Sales Order Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Order Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and efficient order-to-cash process for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the accurate and timely processing of sales orders, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This position is critical in delivering an outstanding customer experience and maintaining GBG's reputation for excellence.

What You Will Do

Sales Order Processing:

  • Receive and review incoming sales orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter sales orders into the company's order management system with precision and attention to detail.
  • Verify product availability and pricing and communicate any discrepancies to the relevant teams.

Sales Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to orders, providing prompt and courteous assistance.
  • Address concerns, resolve issues, and provide order status updates.
  • Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Documentation And Record-Keeping

  • Maintain accurate records of sales orders, invoices, and related documents.
  • Generate order-related reports as needed to support business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding order documentation.

Order Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and finance to coordinate and track order processing from start to finish.
  • Identify and communicate potential issues that could affect order delivery or customer satisfaction.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the order-to-cash cycle.
  • Suggest system enhancements or automation opportunities to streamline sales order processing

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Strong proficiency in using order management software and other relevant business applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer-focused and dedicated to providing outstanding service.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations
