Job Summary


The Diversity Talent Sourcer will be part of the Diversity Recruitment & Retention Team, reporting to the Director of Diversity Recruitment & Retention. In this position will use your insight, experience, and creativity to attract, engage, and hire underrepresented talent to Department of Human Services (DHS).

In this position you will:

  • Develop and execute on lead generation and talent sourcing strategies that support the agencys strategic diversity recruiting efforts.
  • Partner closely with the community of recruiters and business leaders across the agency to successfully provide a robust candidate pipeline in support of achieving our diversity objectives.
  • Identify and execute pipeline development strategies inclusive of direct sourcing, engaging prospects from diversity events and crafting impactful recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Make an impact by partnering internally and externally to successfully execute winning strategies towards continuously ensuring our workforce reflects the communities we serve.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

2 years of candidate sourcing or combined sourcing and recruiting experience with a focus on diversity sourcing or specialized skills. Experience must demonstrate:

Leveraging market analytics, applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management technologies and common sourcing tools to pipeline talent

  • A wide range of sourcing areas including but not limited to: inbound and outbound lead generation, recruitment marketing, and recruiting event management
  • Experience working in or supporting diversity & inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience implementing sourcing strategies, building connections and relationships that address both short-term and long-term hiring needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of public sector recruitment
  • Experience working in or supporting diversity & inclusion initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
