Job title: 3PL SAP WMS Lead Business Analyst

Work location: Irving, TX / Louisville, KY (Hybrid role)

Position Summary:

The Lead IT SAP MM WM Analyst position is primarily responsible for supporting the SAP ECC Materials Management module and Warehouse Management modules for users with in-depth expertise in SAP MM and LE (Logistics Execution) solutions. Perform system support, analysis, and design for SAP and other related IT solutions to support procure-to-pay and logistics Execution Processes. Knowledgeable and experienced with other modules such as SD, FI & PP, along with the corresponding business processes and related project implementation. The candidate will use in-depth analysis skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to implement effective solutions and provide support services to end users. Additional responsibilities include managing the development and maintenance of system documentation, procedures, and standards.

Must have skills:

  • 8 to 10 years of Overall SAP experience with focus on Logistics business processes.
  • 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience on SAP MM and WM modules
  • Configuration knowledge in all the sub modules of SAP ERP Materials Management and Warehouse Management, Integration with other modules and end to end flow of accounting documents.
  • Ability to lead and conduct Design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams.
  • Ability to work on complex configuration scenarios along with writing functional specifications for complex customizations End to end impact assessment and flawless solution design Understanding of other modules of SAP especially FI, WM, EWM, SD, PP, QM, CO, FSCM, FM, PM.
  • Working experience in S4HANA is a plus.
  • Working experience in SAP ATTP is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Key members of the WMS & PTP team are responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solution supporting logistics modules in an engineer to order environment.
  • Subject matter expertise in SAP MM & WM functionality
  • Ability to work on enterprise solutions and support legacy innovation challenges.
  • Collaborate with other teams responsible for related functional areas (Finance to Manage (FICO), Order to Cash (SD), Warehouse Management (WM) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development, Integration).
  • Work with IT and business resources to perform testing of solutions, including preparation of test scenarios and scripts.
  • Log issues and maintain status in issue tracking system for prioritizing work and reporting status.
  • Analyze and document as-is processes and systems, determine gaps and define to-be processes and systems.
  • Assess break/fix, maintenance and enhancement requests for feasibility and scope of solution.
  • Work with business resources to understand needs and document solutions.
  • Proactively work with business stakeholders to comprehend the business requirements and coordinate with technical team for solution design.
  • Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery
  • Opportunity to complete a holistic solution by defining functional design gaps and solutions for objects to add to the system.
  • Facilitate training sessions for the users where appropriate.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred or relevant professional experience

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

Our Base Pay Range for this position $121,900 - $203,100
