Position Overview:

As the Chemical Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding the company's market presence, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating relationships with potential clients. Your strategic thinking and analytical mindset will be crucial in driving sales growth and achieving business objectives in the chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, like finding the perfect chemical formula.

- Develop and execute strategic business development plans, because your skills are solid as a rock!

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, because networking is your element.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and meet customer needs effectively, like a perfectly balanced chemical equation.

- Conduct market research and gather feedback to contribute to the development of new products or enhancements, making sure everything is in its right place.

- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals, because you know how to mix business with pleasure!

- Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities, ensuring you're always one step ahead.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or5+ Years experience).

- Proven track record (2+ years) in chemical business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the chemical manufacturing or distribution industry.

- Strong understanding of chemical products, market dynamics, and customer needs in the industry.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.

- Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and ability to drive initiatives independently.

- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.

- Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.

- Experience with CRM software and market analysis tools.

- Established network within the chemical industry.
