Role Overview

The Scoring Management Supervisor is responsible for the selection, training, development, and oversight of a team of Scoring Supervisors, Scoring Directors, and Scoring Specialists.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Develop and deliver training materials for temporary scoring staff
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple training requests, aligning them with business needs and delivering timely results
  • Identify and interview potential Scoring Supervisors, Scoring Directors and Scoring Specialist Candidates
  • Collaborate with peers to allocate Scoring Supervisors, Scoring Directors and Scoring Specialists to projects
  • Review and approve expense reports, timesheets, and paid time off requests
  • Monitor quality, productivity and overall effectiveness of team
  • Maintains and updates department documentation, forms and policies as well as scoring services applications
  • Provide scoring staff with guidance and feedback on job performance and disciplinary issues
  • Provide exceptional user support, promptly addressing queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive employment experience for our staff
  • Communicate and monitor work schedules and daily tasks to team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and the ability to translate ideas into words and graphics (relative to varying audience needs)
  • PC skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office Professional (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.).
  • Ability to develop, coach, mentor, and supervise the temporary scoring staff assigned to a variety of programs
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Training experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying delivery schedules required
  • Scoring Director experience preferred

Working Conditions

  • Remote position, home office.
  • Travel is rare but may be required from time to time.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $50,000 - $55,000.
