Required Posting forHospitality and Housekeeping Associate
Wyatt Ranches is seeking an individual to fill one of our Hospitality Specialist positions predominantly at the El Ramadero Division, which encompasses the Edinburg Corporate Field Office as well as three other structures in the general area. The Ranches provide a vehicle for the associate to use when traveling away from the Edinburg Corporate Field Office to the other structures, so that the associate does not need to use their own vehicle to travel. Accordingly, a valid driver's license will be required to drive vehicles owned by the Ranches, which in this case would be a Ford Expedition.
Wyatt Ranches provides complete uniforms, ten paid sick days, numerous paid holidays and extended paid holiday periods, two to four weeks paid vacation relating to tenure, health insurance including prescription drug and mental health coverages, 24-hour access to an RN, dental insurance (the Ranches pay 80 percent of the associates insurance and also 80 percent of the associates familys insurance), and life insurance with AD&D (the Ranches pay 100 percent of the associates life insurance and AD&D), attorney access assistance benefits, and all associates are also able to participate in the Ranches 401-K investment program.
Hours are generally 8:00 am until 4:00 am, Monday through Friday; however, these hours will vary based on the needs of the Hospitality Department. This hospitality position will require the associate to work on certain weekends and holidays, and to periodically stay overnight at other ranching divisions (when there are events taking place at these other divisions) and lodging accommodations are provided for same. Whenever working during a paid holiday, the associates in the Hospitality Department are given alternate paid days off or have the option of being paid doubleas per their request. During the high season of the fall and winter, unpredictable hours should be expected with this position.
The starting wage is $14.50 per hour and Annual bonuses and gratuities from guests are also provided in addition to the above salary. After 40 hours, the associate is paid the overtime rate of time and a half. Increases are commensurate with the applicants experience and other qualifications gained over a period of time. Experience with housekeeping duties, guest services and hospitality are required for this position; i.e. experience with cleaning of office and guestroom interiors and furnishings, bathrooms, offices, changing and cleaning linens, and providing hospitality guest services, including the serving of food and beverages, and other duties as assigned.
