job purpose:

The Sr. Manager, Communications is responsible for safeguarding and building the companys reputation and growing product brand love, internally and externally. This role will primarily be responsible for developing and executing connected content strategies on all owned and earned channels, managing and enhancing the public media narrative for the fairlife business and its product brands and partnering with the brand teams to build and deploy communications campaigns rooted in insights.

responsibilities:

  • Enhance company and brand presence in the media and across owned channels:
    • Create strong PR programs that tell the fairlife story and promote its nutrition-rich product portfolio
    • Bring a keen understanding of the current media landscape and how to forge relationship with trade, consumer, news and digital media contacts that reach our target audience
    • Think beyond the traditional approach to PR and maximize opportunities within new media to reach consumers and key stakeholders
    • Play a role in crisis communications planning and risk mitigation, when necessary
    • Maximize the benefit of our owned channels to tell a cohesive and engaging story of fairlife and its product portfolio
  • Preserve consumer confidence:
    • Lead partnership with the Coca-Cola Consumer Interaction Center (CIC), ensuring they are well prepared to respond and represent fairlife to consumers
  • Accelerate brand growth
    • In partnership with the brand teams, create content programs across all owned channels and through PR efforts that drives consumer engagement and trial
    • Create internal brand champions through proactive communications around new product launches, media campaigns and milestone achievements
    • Track and report on KPIs and provide actionable insights
  • Social Channels:
    • Lead organic social strategy across all brands and own the long lead social content calendar.
    • Identify opportunities for audience growth and engagement on all social channels.
    • Establish social media guidelines and best practices, serve as companys internal expert
    • Lead reporting for social channels and define success metrics/KPIs.
    • Evaluate and manage social analytics and tools for audience engagement and other KPIs.
  • External Website:
    • Oversee and manage changes, updates and enhancements to the external website((link removed))
    • Track and evaluate user experience and traffic and provide actionable insights
    • Develop new and compelling content that supports company narrative, including short articles and infographics
  • 7+ years of experience with increased responsibility in brand communications, marketing communications or public relations, with a focus on the food and beverage industry required - CPG experience preferred
  • Intellectually curious and well versed in the latest mediums and tools to drive interest and awareness among key internal and external audiences
  • Great attention to detail and ability to communicate actions and results clearly and concisely to any audience
  • Up-to-date on the latest best practices in the social, digital and media landscape
  • Innate desire to hold self fully accountable for delivering results with limited guidance
  • Collaborative, Team Based Approach
    • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment, eager to partner, create value-based relationships with team members up, down and across the organization
