Position Summary

Set design objectives and direction for work streams. Partner with stakeholders, developers, and other experience designers to understand the big problems and collaborate of effective solutions. Execute on design direction in collaboration with other designers. Oversee day-to-day design progress, provide ongoing support and feedback.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead UX/UI design process across work streams, from discovery through delivery

  • Distill and communicate complex interactions and design decisions to different audiences in the organization. Facilitate in-depth UX/UI discussion with broad groups of stakeholders to drive align and establish priorities.

  • Create story boards, wireframes, flows, comps, prototypes, and production assets to effectively communicate interaction and design work and validate ideas

  • Manage the ongoing development and enterprise utilization of the design system to propagate consistent experience designs

  • Support information architecture work and bring clarity to complex systems

  • Partner with researchers to drive qualitative and quantitative user research, interviews, usability testing, and other research methods and data analysis techniques to make informed recommendations for UX/UI

  • Actively mentor other designers


Minimum Requirements

7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, interactive design, or equivalent experience Bachelor's Degree in a related area or like experience in user centered design, UX testing methodologies, human computer interaction, industrial design or related field Communication and facilitation of design process, ideas and solutions within broad teams Solid prototyping experience to explore and communicate design decisions/front-end development, HTML/CSS, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite or similar Oversite of design principles, practices, and systems A strong portfolio of UX/UI work samples Preferred Qualifications: Great communicator Experience designing for and overseeing accessibility standards Experience with information architecture design Experience delivering UX/UI design in a large scale corporate initiative

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $90,000.00 to $127,332.00 per year
