Job Description
Selected candidates will work on a project team implementing a new, statewide Voter Registration system for use by county election officials and the Elections Division. In the As-Is state, every one of (client's) seventeen counties owns and operates their own Voter Registration System. These systems also support Election Management functions, and they integrate with numerous other systems at the county and the state level. The solution implemented will replace multiple, legacy systems in both the counties and the state. This project is expected to require multiple years to complete.
Experience and Skills Required-
As a Quality Assurance Analyst on this project, you can expect to be tasked with some, all or none of the following activities:
- Test Execution: Execute test cases to identify defects, ensure functionality, and verify that the software meets quality standards.
- Defect Tracking: Document and track defects, issues, and deviations from project specifications. Work closely with project team to troubleshoot and resolve identified issues.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new software versions or updates do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendors, product managers, and business analysts, to communicate testing progress, issues, and recommendations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and testing results.
- Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and others.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey testing results and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough attention to detail to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accurate defect reporting.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Election Domain Knowledge: Preferred but not required
