For more information, go to (link removed) https://dhr.colorado.gov/dhr-resources/student-loan-forgiveness-programsThis position can work fully remotely from anywhere in the State of Colorado. **Please note - equipment provisioning and certain onboarding tasks will take place in person, in our downtown Denver office, on the first day of employment.**The Compliance and Innovation Division is responsible for ensuring the Office of Community Living can be responsive to the Department of Justice (DOJ) findings, the Olmstead decision, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. It will be responsible for transitioning individuals out of more restrictive or institutional settings. The Access Unit exists to support individuals in need of access to Long Term Services and Supports. The unit oversees all program work related to Case Management Agency (CMA) entry point function, Transition Services, Preadmission Screening and Residential Review (PASRR), housing support, and other OCL program functions, as necessary. This unit works in coordination with the Case Management Unit to streamline the operations of ongoing case management and access/intake functions to ensure that programming is consistent with all state and federal policy guidance. The unit oversees contract management that may include Options Counseling (OC), Housing Navigation, MFP supplemental contracts, and others as applicable. It is the goal of the Access Unit to support Medicaid organizations that help individuals access adequate care; regardless of age, disability or geographic region. The Unit plays an important role in working toward the Departments mission to improve access to cost-effective, quality long term care services and support for Coloradoans.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
What you'll be doing: This position is the staff authority in and exists to oversee all aspects of grant management associated with Money Follows the Person (MFP). Creating the Statement of Work (SOW) to inform vendor work for the Phase Project and Community Grant Project. This position is the staff authority related to MFP grant activities. You are the expert on MFP to include; grant requirements, statute, Volume 8 regulation and community engagement. Representing a conduit to Department leadership to inform and respond to any policy issues. Developing the vendor application for both projects and oversees the application and selection processes for the necessary vendors. Coordinating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), the Office of Grants Acquisition and Management (OGAM) to authorize the scope and scale of project work associated with MFP. Performing stakeholder engagement to gain feedback from community members and organizations. It plans and facilitates the Transition Stakeholder Advisory Committee (TSAC).
