Senior VP of Sales - Industrial Distribution



Are you a dynamic and strategic industrial sales leader ready to shape the future of a growing sales team? Our client is looking for you to join their executive team as the Senior Vice President of Sales and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and shaping sales strategy.



Key Responsibilities:



Sales Leadership: Lead the industrial sales team with strategic direction, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.



Business Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, identify growth opportunities, and expand our industrial distribution footprint.



Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key clients in commercial and industrial construction verticals.



Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and achievement.



Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Use insights to identify new business opportunities and maintain competitiveness.



Sales Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize sales performance. Provide regular reports and analysis to the executive team.



Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.



Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in industrial Distribution or Engineering is highly preferred.


Minimum of 10 years of industrial sales experience, with a focus on industrial distribution.


Proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets.


Strong understanding of industrial distribution channels, market dynamics, and customer needs.


Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


Ability to think strategically, make informed decisions, and drive results.


Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business environments and lead teams through growth phases.
