Technical Skills:
Sheet Metal tool designing and development.
Analysis of productcost.
Good knowledge of Wire cut and Sparking machines.
Good Knowledge of designing software such as Autocad or other relevant software
Involved in Design and detailing for Press tool
Executing of Drawings
Creation of Final Drawings for Final Machining Detail, Assembly Detail
Independently Tool Design & Tool Manufacturing of sheet metal components.
Designing of press tools like as Blanking, Piercing, Restricting, Forming, Bending etc.
Designing of Progressive press Tools.
Leading all activities of tool design & development from conceptual through detail phases, post design support to development, performing component feasibility study, involvement in quoting tool cost, designing of die layout, press tools
Designing progressive die & multi slide tool.
Responsible for Designing press dies layout and machining fixtures (Mechanical, hydraulic
Expert on Auto CAD, NX, SolidWorks or other CAD software experience
New fixture and press dies identification, quotation, ordering.
Should know spring back calculation for sheet metal parts.
Responsible for fixture calibration process.
Continual improvement - improve tool life, reduce fixture press die cost, set- up time reduction through optimal design of toolings and fixtures and existing fixtures and press dies.
Materials selection experience
Ability to craft 2D drawings
Hands-on prototyping, testing & troubleshooting
Flexible and capable of handling multiple projects concurrently
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical - thinking capabilities.
Collaborative and able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities while fostering a team environment.
