Healthcare facility in Alabama looking for Emergency Medicine physicians to provide ER coverage this spring

Schedule:

• 9-10 hour shifts available
• Around 7 shifts per month available. Not all will be shift blocks, some will be sporadic
• Start this May (estimated 60 days for credentialing but faster for clean background)

Assignment:

• Volume: 50,000 annual ER visits, estimated 4,100 patients per month
• Support staff: 53 Hour Physician and 44 Hour APC Coverage 
• Level 3 trauma
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Cases/Procedures: Will need to be comfortable with all general ER cases

Requirements:

• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or certified in FM/IM with ER experience
  
  
  
  • If provider is FM or IM certified, they will most likely have to provide case logs for ER experience proof.
  
  
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS, CSC
• Active AL license

Travel/Lodging:

• Rental car, flight, and lodging are fully covered!
