A healthcare system in Memphis, TN is seeking ongoing locums tenens Pediatric Hospitalist coverage.

Schedule:

• 24-hour shifts available
• 12 hr shifts available
• 7 - 10 shifts per month
• 60 - 90 day credentialing

Job Details:

• MICU and Newborn nursery size - 40+, physician only covers 14
• Daily census- Nursery 6-8, Peds 6-8
• Patient ages- 35+ weeks for newborns
• Multidisciplinary rounds, see patients in Nursery & Peds Floor, some procedures required
• Average number of admissions per night: given night shift – may see 4-5 new babies and 1-2 PED
• Only one physician at a time

Requirements:

• Clean Background
• BLS
• Board Certified
• NRP
• PALS
