Purpose of Role

The Director, Facilities and Operations within Corporate Real Estate is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective management of various services and amenities provided to both internal and external stakeholders. The Operations Group manages customer facing activities including Venue Services, Event Management, Reception, Tours, Food Service, Fitness Center, and other amenities. This key leadership role will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization developing strong relationships within Under Armour and the community. This professional will manage both Under Armour teammates and third-party vendors, ensuring consistent superior customer service. This leader is a strategic thinker who advocates for continuous improvement and process consistency, while ensuring organizational alignment of charter and corporate goals.

Your Impact

Efficiently lead and manage the Operations Group, overseeing customer-facing activities.
Recruit and train top talent throughout the operations organization
Manage financial aspects of projects with vendors, including service providers and consultants.
Develop and optimize a comprehensive service model that captures efficiency of common process while supporting flexibility globally.
Collaborate with the executive team to assess and adjust the service delivery model as needed.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and process consistency
Understanding of the financial implications of a proposed physical plan.
Proficient at reading and interpreting service provider agreements, purchase orders and contracts.
Support facilities, events, sales, and marketing activities through an engaged partnership approach.
Develop and manage operating budgets in the context of a thoughtful and comprehensive strategic operating plan.
Responsible for all financial reporting for the Operations Group, supported by the CRE Controls group.
Partner with risk management to identify operations-related risks and effective mitigation measures.
Ensure operations comply with state and local laws.
Integrate sustainability into Corporate Real Estate operations.
Oversee the global portfolio of renewable energy initiatives.
Coordinate efforts with Environmental Sustainability organization and Indirect Procurement.Core Functions

Renewable Energy Portfolio
Responsible for the global portfolio of renewable energy initiatives from end to end, including, but not limited to, direct and virtual power purchase agreements (VPPAs), Retail utility & green tariffs, and Renewable energy credits (RECs).
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to develop Under Armours renewable energy portfolio strategy, including assessing business requirements, generation and evaluation of strategic options, development of business cases for selected options, and reporting out of actual renewable energy utilization against Under Armours Public targets.
Provide recommendations on the execution of purchase agreements, VPPAs, and other instruments based on ROIC, tax consequences, market intelligence, and Under Armour requirements on a global basis.
Advise leadership on the current renewable energy market, management strategies to reduce Under Armours global carbon footprint, save cost, manage tax and other financial consequences across our portfolio.
Coordinate efforts with Environmental Sustainability organization and Indirect Procurement
Manage complex agreements such as VPPAs and energy service agreements and advise on above-site level renewable energy supply agreements to improve value and reduce risks to our Company.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a core discipline such as Business, Engineering, Hospitality, or a related profession.
10-15 years of direct facilities/operations experience.
High computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and program management software.
Experience with both in-sourced and outsourced operations.
Working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws pertaining to Operations.
Prior knowledge in renewable energy initiatives.

Baltimore, Maryland (Global Headquarters)
office.

Return to Work Designation: Three (3)
days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.

Base Compensation

$144,369.00 - $198,507.10USD
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
