Job Description

In this position you have the opportunity

to make a significant impact in the world of medical healthcare. In your routine MR performance verification activities you can also demonstrate creativity in solving technical problems or design issues. These products and product improvements are directly used in the eleven 7T MR scanners on which research is conducted worldwide. You are also involved in improving our production processes and the integration of our group into the Factory Best of Philips Healthcare.


You are responsible for

Conducting integration tests of spare parts for 7T MR scanners, which have been produced or repaired by your colleagues in the team
Analyzing cause and root cause in MR system performance issues
Quickly respond to urgent customer orders or issues
Troubleshoot and create solutions for customer issues, where (sometimes) no standard process are existent
Creating documentation according to Medical Device rules and legislation, as described in our QMS
Documenting acquired knowledge in instructions for making, repairing, buying and testing
Implementing Continuous improvement in product quality, production processes, testing and documentation
Participate in designs of 7T MR (or other MR) parts, for example finding design solutions or procurement solutions if these components are not readily available from suppliers
Ensure component manufacturing compliance for 7T-MR & Collaboration Office


You are part of

A multidisciplinary team: We consist of RF electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, all-round system testers, a QC/QA officer, and logistics support.


To successfully fill this position, you must have the following skills and experience

At least a completed technical HBO (higher vocational) education in electronics or similar
Experience with RF is required: RF transmit (amplifiers, TX coils, RF receive chain (RF coils, RF interface boxes)
Flexible working attitude; Keeping our customers' systems running requires regular adjustments to the plan
Good command of the Dutch and English language is required
Experience in a Medical Device production environment is an advantage
Experience with Philips MR (SPT, STT, Batch interpreter, scanning) is an advantage
Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Self-propelling, takes ownership to bring technical issues to a good solution
Creative in finding technical or other solutions to the problems in our products
