Job Description

Regulatory Marketing Communications and Advertising Lead (U.S. Hub Based Location)


The Regulatory Marketing Communications and Advertising Lead is responsible for the review and approval of promotional materials. You will serve as the regulatory expert with marketing, legal, and medical teams to ensure that promotional practices are consistent with regulatory guidelines and enforcement trends governing the promotion of medical devices, Philips policies, and business objectives.


Your role:

Performs timely and accurate review of advertising and promotional material to meet internal timelines and requirements; provides regulatory guidance and expertise to promotional review team; Evaluates advertising and promotional materials, communications, new campaigns and launch strategies to ensure compliance with global regulations, guidance, Philips standards and policies, and business objectives.
Assesses the impact of proposed labeling changes for a particular product and its potential impact on advertising and promotional materials; provides product development and label development strategies to ensure promotional claims can be supported; proposes creative, effective, and compliant regulatory strategies and solutions to challenging promotional concepts that meet business objectives and minimize regulatory risk.
Researches and evaluates advertisement and promotional precedents for marketed products to assist with providing well-supported and clear guidance to key stakeholders; Maintains current awareness of evolving global and FDA regulations and interpretations, advisory letters, enforcement letters and policy issues affecting the medical device industry; Communicates significant changes, potential risk and impact to relevant stakeholders; Monitors competitor advertising to keep abreast of market promotional and advertising strategies.
Establish and maintain standard operational procedures and department working instructions related to Ad & promo; Foster a business partnership environment with stakeholders to ensure company meets strategic business objectives; Participate in trade shows when needed.
Limited travel required (<25%). This role will be based in a U.S. Hub location as posted.


You're

the right fit if:

You have 7+ years of experience in medical device regulatory affairs. Experience with marketing aspects of regulatory affairs required (advertising, labeling, etc.)
Your skills include the ability to deal with issues of critical importance, provide regulatory advice and recommendations involving regulatory issues on topics which there may not be clear/specific regulatory guidance. You can meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs. You are detail oriented with the ability to proofread and check documents for accuracy as well as consistency.
You have a bachelors degree or higher in a life/health science related field.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
Youre an excellent communicator with strong oral and written communication skills, time management skills, and negotiation skills. You work well with others, especially in a cross-functional team environment. You have excellent project management and leadership skills.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $96,850 to $200,256, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
