Contract Administrator - Dallas


Job Summary

A contract coordinator is a logistics professional who coordinates, supports, finalizes, and monitors the carrier contracts for our organization. Contract Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities associated with carrier contract administration. The position supports the carrier contract process and collaborates with internal departments to keep staff informed of new contracts and changes to existing contracts.
The Contract Coordinator will provide oversight, coordination, management, organization, and communication of carrier contracting activities for our regional Business Insurance and Private Client Services departments. Maintain Business Insurance and Private Client Services carrier agreements, addendums, and respond to required carrier agency profile notifications.

Duties & Responsibilities
include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned:
Facilitate process of contract documents from pre-contract through post-contract signature phases.
Coordinate and support contract preparation and administration including new agreements, amendments, licenses, memorandums of understanding, and other contract arrangements.
Review and update existing contract agency profiles as needed. Ensure carrier Agency Profile is current and if necessary, initiate corrective action.
Serve as Business Insurance and Private Client Services department liaison to Legal Team for carrier agreement legal review/approval.
Collaborate on acquisition transitions to establish required agreement and amendments.
Receive, file, and disseminate information provided by carriers to responsible parties.
Support the maintenance of a common carrier directory/database.
Recommend process improvements to benefit the contracting function.
All other duties as assigned

Skills & Competencies:

Proficient computer skills with keen attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Analytical and problem-solving abilities, synthesizing complex or diverse information with ability to create and implement solution.
Organizational skills with ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Results driven, able to self-direct and work independently showing initiative, while seeking guidance when appropriate.
Familiarity with industry business operations, understanding of industry legal and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with Office 365 including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams
Familiarity with Smartsheet



Qualifications:
An individual should possess the ability to interact professionally and ethically with the companys business partners; handle multiple tasks simultaneously; provide clear, concise oral and written directives/communications; quickly assess situations and respond appropriately; handle special requests in a sensitive, professional manner. Strong attention to detail and follow through is required.

Work Environment:
Work is sedentary in nature, frequent wrist and finger manipulation due to high concentration of filing, compiling, or computer work. Work interruptions are frequent. There is some pressure associated with project or activity deadlines and details. Travel to attend meetings may be required as needed. Equipment used may include, but is not limited to, computer, telephone, copier, scanner.
