Position Overview

Develop and translate requirements into actionable designs
Design viable, robust production equipment and tools which meet or exceed requirements
Create project plans for automation development to meet organizational needs
Manage the project life cycle
Collaborate with production, manufacturing and facilities engineers to review new and updated machine designs
Prepare feasibility studies to justify the purchase or building of new equipment

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical agricultural or other engineering field
More than 3 years experience of designing automation equipment, machinery or robotics systems
Working knowledge of Solidworks
Strong understanding of PLCs and of automation
Strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without restrictions.
