Job Description
The Senior Technical Project Manager will be working in our MR Patient Care group within the Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) business; youll lead hardware integration efforts and will be working with world class engineers who develop products that help saves lives all over the world.


Your role:


Take ownership of hardware deliverables for the full project life cycle - successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one to two major or several minor/medium projects simultaneously

Establish and drive the achievement of hardware deliverables, internally and externally, in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the cross functional team

Demonstrate intuition for business to support how solutions will address project goals

Infuse product design expertise into our next generation patient monitoring products with a heavy emphasis on efficacy and product safety

Collaborate with, influence and hold accountable cross-functional project teams to ensure projects/programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards

Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating collaboration, innovation, and excellence

Develop and effectively communicate project risks, progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, leadership steering team, and management

Participate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement on standard methodologies and tools for hardware technical project management


You're the right fit if:


You have the ability to lead a team of engineers and manage hardware suppliers to deliver on product development commitments

You have a Masters in a relevant engineering background (e.g Mechanical, Electrical, Operations) with a focus on Product Development

You have experience in new product development with a demonstrable record of bringing product to market

Youve acquired at least 10 years of experience in the R&D domain of highly regulated business(es)

Project management trained/qualified (e.g PMP certification or equivalent) and have demonstrated experience and success in leading large, complex technology/product transfer projects/programs

Youve demonstrated experience and success in leading medium and large, sophisticated projects/programs

You have experienced working knowledge of project and portfolio management governance, process and tools and global business knowledge and influence demonstrated understanding of different cultures and approaches and demonstrated ability to lead, follow, work and influence at all levels and in all functions of the organization.

You have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all organizational levels; can drive tough decisions and can quickly build effective teams in a global matrixed organization

You are a driving force on the teams deliverables on quality and timely delivery

Medical Device experience is preferred (experience in MRI products and / or hospital patient monitors is a plus). Exposure to International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE is a plus.

Travel is 10-15%
