North America and operating year-round, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is looking for "Long
Haul Truck Drivers" who are dependable, trustworthy and having commitment to provide quality
service. The details are as below:
Position: Long Haul Truck Drivers (Full Time/ Permanent)
Salary: 27.50/hr for 50-60 hrs/week
Number of Positions: 4
Education: High School
Credentials: Driver's Lic ence BC Class 1 or AZ, Air Brake Adjustment Certificate
Experience: Previous experience is an asset. On job training will be provided.
Languages: Should be able to Read, Write and Speak English language
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor Trailer
Type of Travel: Canada wide and US destination s
Specific skills: Team player, Able to concentrate f or long periods
Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge of Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pretrip,
en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident
reports
Duties to be performed:
Driver must also be able to drive an articulated truck to transport goods and materials, loading
and unloading goods, plan travel schedules and routes, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect
tires, lights brakes and other equipment. Also perform brake adjustments, monitor vehicle
performance and mechanical fitness and perform preventative maintenance. Communicate with
dispatcher, other drivers and customers. Willing to travel for extended periods
