Oliver Wyman is now looking for a Marketing Manager for our Transportation and Services and Financial Services Practices in Paris



The Opportunity


Oliver Wymans Transportation and Services Practice advises clients across all sectors of the transportation industry including airlines, railroads, OEM and other manufacturers for aerospace & defense and rail, logistics and multimodal providers, hotels, travel and tourism operators, financiers, and governments to help shape the face of the industry.

With deep industry expertise, our consultants help clients stay ahead of the competition by solving their most difficult and pressing problems to grow shareholder and stakeholder value, capitalize on disruption, optimize operations, and maximize commercial and organizational effectiveness. Our team also excels at innovative financial solutions for transportation assets and has a series of specialized transport-related capabilities.
These include:

CAVOK, technical consulting on safety and compliance, maintenance programs, and certification((link removed))

Strategies and modeling for market share, network, and fleet planning analyses via our Network Simulation Center.

This role will support our CAVOK business model and (link removed) offerings. This team also supports the broader business-to-business services practice which includes technology providers, professional services, and on-site services and support which support corporations and municipalities.

Our Financial Services Practice partners with the worlds leading financial institutions on their most significant challenges, such as lower revenues and elevated credit losses, to deliver breakthrough impact in a period of unprecedented economic disruption and turmoil. It specializes in providing strategic advice and solutions to the financial services industry. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing banks, insurance companies, asset managers, and other financial institutions, Oliver Wyman helps its clients navigate complex regulatory environments, optimize their operations, and drive growth.

As the Marketing Manager you will collaborate with a global team, aiding the Transportation and Services and Financial Services Practices leadership in shaping the content strategy and disseminating ideas across various marketing channels such as content, events, media, PR, and digital/social media.

You will be instrumental in the Practices growth, utilizing CRM to identify marketing opportunities aligned with the firm's business objectives. You will collaborate closely with other Oliver Wyman industry practices and tap into the firm's expertise to serve clients. Additionally, your role involves researching, recommending, and managing event partnerships and sponsorships.


What wed love to see from you:


You'll have 8+ years of experience with marketing campaign management

Ideally you will have marketing experience gained from within in a management consulting or professional services environment - experience of working across practices, groups, and/or regions (ideally globally) is preferred.

Experience of marketing for / within the Transportation and/or the Financial Services sectors will be highly advantageous

Experience in delivering marketing content for different channels, including social media and web.

Proven experience of working with CRM and marketing automation systems

Events coordination and execution (in-person and/or virtual) experience is highly desirable

A Bachelors degree is required; Marketing, Business, or Journalism preferred.

Further Key Responsibilities of the role include -


Building and managing a global, cross-industry, content and event campaign pipeline: working closely with the geographical and cross-industry marketing teams on implementation of Transportation and Services-focused marketing campaignsfrom development, to execution, to post-execution analysis.

Building and implementing project plans to ensure throughput efficiency against tight delivery deadlines.

Collaborating closely with the marketing Digital, Operations, Events, Content and Social Media teams to ensure maximum marketing channel success and leveraging of new and innovative mediums.

Owning campaign objectives, execution plans, milestones, and results.

Establishing a strong collaboration with the Account Based Marketing team and owning the delivery of the ABM plan for key TNS accounts.

Leading marketing team meetings and planning sessions with Partners and marketing leaders across the globe. This will typically also include teams formed from our centers of excellence to address a specific project or need in collaboration with other functions across the firm (including, but not limited to, Knowledge Services, Design, and Information Technology, Practice Management, among others).

Collaborating with outside vendors to create memorable campaigns

Adopting a ROMI mindset, with the goal of consistently enhancing our campaign impact in the marketplace by putting Marketing ROI at the center of decision making

Following industry trends and providing competitive as well as channel intelligence to effectively enable Oliver Wyman to participate in discussions shaping the industry

Working closely with partners, principals and vice presidents and the OW editorial team to align on an editorial calendar and support the crafting and promotions of relevant, engaging and concise perspectives with a distinctive point of view.
