Position Summary: The Corporate Compliance Manager will ensure that the company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. This position will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and oversee policies and procedures to prevent of deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies Evaluate the policies and procedures and improve them continuously based on changes of regulations Develop compliance strategies or programs based on both federal and state laws Revise procedures periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues Draft, modify, and implement company policies Collaborate with Corporate Counsel and Human Resources to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations Assess future ventures to identify possible compliance risks Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure company compliance with laws, rules and regulations Manage and report on compliance risk mitigation activity Manage and report on ethics hotline matters Keep up to date with regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance Safeguard and secure data of the company and ensure that it is kept private Establish and carry out proper training programs so that employees are aware of the laws and regulations that they need to follow Work with upper management to address ethical violations of compliance issues and find solutions
Supervisory Responsibility: Yes
Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in legal studies, business management, or business administration required Masters Degree preferred CAMS certified preferred 5+ years of compliance experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in risk management or auditing Exposure to executing and monitoring and reporting on compliance projects Bilingual (Spanish) preferred Knowledge and Skill Requirements Excellent analytical skills Ability to solve problems when they arise Excellent interpersonal skills Leadership skills Understanding of regulatory frameworks Organizational, project management, and strategic planning skills

Work Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is infrequently in a manufacturing environment containing toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Personal Protective Equipment Must wear PPE as required based on job duties.
