Were looking for a
Mechanical Engineering Intern
to join our Connected Communities team onsite in
Peachtree City, Georgia.
Youll be responsible for designing and supporting our sports lighting products.

What youll do


Prototype and build Proof-of-Concepts

Test and evaluate lighting fixtures and various critical electrical/mechanical components

Support post-sales technical issues and resolve quality issues related to components or manufacturing; troubleshoot field related technical issues
Writing ECNs (Engineering Change Notice) to document changes to products

Coordinate with manufacturing and implement factory tests

Write executive summaries to communicate issues and resolutions to management

What youll need


Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors' or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical design skills and basic knowledge of various materials and their structural and thermal properties

Understands electrical basics of control theory, AC/DC, and RF

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and able to multitask and meet deadlines

Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer onsite in Peachtree City, GA

Pay Rate:
$21 - $31 per hour (based on year of study and major)
