Job Description

Segment Lead Accessories, Patient Interfaces


The Segment Lead owns the Patient Interface - Accessories product strategy. Responsible for defining product requirements, solution and services development, launch and lifecycle management activities and enhancements, and contributing to a deep understanding of customer needs.


Your role:


Formulates the upstream strategy (portfolio, product, lifecycle and professional services, software & clinical claims roadmaps) for the assigned portfolio based on strong clinical & economical customer insights, in close cooperation with global markets (supported by Market Intelligence).

Translates general product plan into clear detailed specifications for proposition development, business case and potentially new business models. Owns portfolio pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities.

Keeps the existing portfolio healthy from a financial and patient safety & quality perspective.

A part of the Philips Sleep and Respiratory Care business, and reports to the Category Lead of the Patient Interfaces Category. In this role you will work cross-functionally with other marketing functions, R&D, and the team of Product Managers.


You're the right fit if:


Youve acquired a minimum of 8 years experience in product development or portfolio management, and must have experience in the medical device, health technology, or consumer health industry.

Your skills include strong experience in value proposition creation, portfolio management and lifecycle management, understanding of willingness to pay, and ability to develop realistic and comprehensive business cases and new business models.

You have a bachelors degree in business or related field; MBA preferred.

You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

You can work in ambiguous situations, are a self-starter, and a real team player.
