Job Location - Hebbal

Reporting to CIO

Reportees - 10 Direct Reportees

Experience: - Candidate should have at least 10 to 15 years of total experience At least 4 - 5 years of experience, independently working as a System Administrator at a L2 or L3 level

Job Description:

- Good understanding of System architecture, best practices, components and concepts and ability to design a large / very large size computing solution

Have good understanding and hands on implementation, day-to-day management and troubleshooting experience in the areas of Windows Servers Linux Servers Understanding of hardware aspects of Rack / Blade Servers / Storage Exposure to 1 or more different types of storage systems FC & iSCSI deployments with complex deployment, and ongoing support experience L2+ level VMWare experience in terms on installation,configuration, day to management, troubleshooting experience on other Hypervisors in addition to VMWare would be a + Understanding of VLANs, Tagging and basic network requirements etc Building and managing HA solutions or clusters on servers, databases, hypervisors Active Directory or other SSO deployment and management Disaster Recovery tools and Solutions Hardening of all servers, storage and related devices as per a continuously evolving baseline Patch Management Anti-Virus deployment and management Backup Solutions and technologies E-Mail Solutions and technologies Co-ordinate and work with 3rd party vendors for deploying any applications / other solutions that may be required in accordance with best practices and policies in a secure way Understanding of one or more databases, web server technologies, application servers would be a plus Capital Markets or BFSI experience would be a plus Co-Ordinate with 3rd party vendors, contractors etc as may be required to resolve issues

Good understanding and adherence to SLAs Good understanding of one or more monitoring and management solutions Define parameters, thresholds that need to be monitored and alerting levels and mechanisms Create and review checklists covering all the daily process Should be good in communication and co-ordination preferably multi-lingual Should be sensitive to requirements and prioritize and address / escalate issues clearly and well in time
