Carpenters

F/T Carpenters are required for AWSCIT Constructions Ltd. located at 18515 53 Ave suite unit 101 B Surrey, BC, V3S 7A4, Canada. If you are self-motivated, a good team player and willing to work in fast paced environment here is an excellent chance to move forward and grab the opportunity.
Position: Carpenter (Permanent/Full Time)
No of Vacancies: 5 Positions.
Salary: $30.00 hourly for 30 - 40 hours/week.
Education: Secondary education required.
Start Date of Employment (approx.): As soon as possible.
Language Requirements: Must be able to communicate in English.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience is required.
Essential Skills: Able to work in fast paced environment, be physically able to handle heavy equipment.
Job Duties:
• Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and build walls and roof systems.
• Develop layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Repair, maintain and renovate residences and wooden structures.
• Read and understand sketches, blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and estimate requirements.
• Assemble, measure, cut, shape and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and set up trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
