Position Summary: This position will manage the Plant Logistics & Distribution function to include directing and coordinating employees involved in storage, shipment, and receipt of finished goods, raw materials, stores, and general plant deliveries. This position will manage any temporary work force assigned to BC Logistics that could perform a variety of tasks across the site. This position will be accountable for Warehouse Inventory Management Program. This position will promote a culture of continuous improvement, act on key performance indicators, and ensure customer expectations are meet - both external and internal customers. This position will manage the cost for the function.
This role is a hybrid location which includes a combination of in office and remote work as agreed upon between the Co-op and the hiring manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Procurement team on various initiatives, including the evaluation of spend across the organization.
Develop a knowledgeable background regarding policies and procedures related to procurement, contracts, and materials management.
Develop an understanding of category management, contract management and supplier diversity processes.
Prepare and analyze bid packages.
Become familiar with the materials, equipment, and services procured.
Gain an understanding of market and spend analysis.
Curate data (from disparate data sources) to meet business planning and strategy development needsdata accuracy and accessibility is paramount.
Manage vendor set up process in SAP, including adding, updating and deleting.
Manage processes of vendor compliance with MSD, compliance letters
Be cross trained as creator of Purchase orders.
Manage Procurement intranet site.
Manage the monthly pricing updates for raw materials at US manufacturing plant As requested, perform supplier financial review using the contracted financial review system.
Assist in quarterly auditing process through documentation gathering, analysis and communication.
Education and Experience
Completed sophomore level coursework.
Completed at least one co-op or internship.
Candidate for a B.S/A. degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or computer science
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills to present and translate findings.
Experience in Microsoft tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word) for data manipulation and presentations.
Possesses the ability to create and enhance reports using Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Access
Demonstrates success in working effectively, both independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask and prioritize items effectively.
Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational and project management skills
Ability and desire to learn new processes, systems, and tools.
Possesses ability to reach-out and identify support resources across a wide range of company organizations.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
