Job Description
In this role, you will work closely together with the Innovation organizations in Royal Philipsto develop and realize mechatronics systems including e.g. customized test equipment by leading projects. You will drive advanced and complex mechatronic equipment development projects containing hardware and software content, having a leading role to scope, define and lead highly innovative projects for professional equipment.
Your role:


Teaming-up with the Business Engagement group to win the project in the acquisition phase. Development of a committed project management plan in consultation with customer and management, ensuring requirements and deliverables definition within the constraints of Medical compliance.

Youll be part of Philips Innovation Engineering, an over 1700-strong team of technology experts, designers, project managers and consultants who have decades of experience in supporting customers both inside and outside Philips - from major companies in sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing and healthcare to highly innovative start-ups. The Mechatronics & Manufacturing Systems team which is part of the Product & System Engineering department of Philips Innovation Engineering is an organization, which supports Philips businesses in all aspects of mechatronics device and equipment development.

Lead the acceptance and the transfer of deliverables to the customer. Report on Employees performance; propose training and advice on career development to Resource managers.

You're the right fit if:


Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in production equipment - or product development. You are a passionate technician who wants to take the lead in innovative technical development projects. Development of mechatronic systems is highly preferred.

Experience with leading multidisciplinary, co-located teams. Affinity with working in an innovative development project and comfortable with handling the funnel from relatively vague requirements to well-defined project with committed partners.

PMI/PMP certification preferred.

A Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, physics or software engineering.

Willingness to travel (globally) occasionally to different locations as needed for project definition and execution.
