TRN Systems is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Technical Project Manager for our client, a state government agency, as they progress through the modernization of a claims processing system. The Project Manager will take direction in a matrix environment reporting to the State Project Manager and the State Agency IT Program Manager. This position requires core project management skills based on PMBOK (e.g., meeting facilitation, meeting minutes, action item documentation and grooming, risk and issue identification, and status reporting) in addition to the ability to build relationships within the matrixed reporting environment, and support multiple levels of reporting and interaction up to the Deputy Agency Commissioner. Position Responsibilities: We are looking for someone: Who has been a .NET developer Has lead .NET development teams to organize and manage tech work Is proficient in JIRA Can run daily scrums Can do assessments of technical estimates Prior State Government Experience a PLUS!
