Position: Procurement Manager - Remote US
We are looking for a stellar Procurement Manager to join our fast growing team. This person will be a self starter who brings a strong knowledge of procurement practices and understanding of the full end to end sourcing process. About the Role
This position will be remote located in the US and will be primarily responsible for supporting the business functions with a strong focus on Marketing Procurement sourcing experience. This person will work closely with senior leadership and will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation of sourcing. They will also work closely with internal stakeholders to influence buying decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier relationships, reduce costs, and improve overall procurement efficiency, specifically focusing on Marketing and Meetings/Trade Shows
Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the industry.
Establish, negotiate, manage, and monitor existing and new contracts with suppliers.
Lead Business reviews with Suppliers and setting up KPIs within the sourcing function
Leverage multiple sources of internal and external data and market intelligence to develop innovative and creative effective category strategies that drive a competitive advantage for Eightfold.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Proven experience in procurement with 7-10 years preferably in SaaS organizations.
Have a high degree of detail orientation and time management.
Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of contract savings through negotiation.
Experience working within a global company in or outside of the US for global relationship management understanding and working with suppliers from around the world.
In-depth knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and indirect categories.
Comprehension to negotiate contract terms, including development of negotiation plans and strategies.
Strong relationship-management skills and ability to communicate effectively and influence senior business partners.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
