PayPal, Inc. seeks Data Analyst 2 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Analyze user behavior on various login methods (such as Password, OTP, Biometrics, Passkey, etc.) to design & measure hypothesis driven experiments to optimize user experience and improve PayPal's primary KPls such as login success rate. Launch new customer experiences and build foundational tracking and reporting on product performance. Report on key business trends to stakeholders and measure progress against established end of year targets. Query large and complex datasets using SQL to extract business metric trends and insights. Create automated reports for key business metrics. Design and evaluate complex hypothesis driven experiments & draw statistically sound inferences from data. Forecast performance KPls. Perform root cause analyses to identify drivers and explain fluctuations in business performance. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a Data Scientist, or a related occupation.

Base Salary: $142,000 – 176,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
