Roles and Responsibilities:

The goal of the Equipment Condition Monitoring program is to predict equipment failures before they become catastrophic or have collateral damage. This program achieves that goal by developing predictive and intelligent models that provide the foresight of the onset of machine degradation. We are seeking an
Equipment Condition Monitoring Engineer
to grow and collaborate within our Operational Excellence team, working hybrid, located at our Global Headquarters in Allentown, PA.

In this position, the individual will identify the key parameters influencing the equipment health and create the predictive models from those parameters. The individual will also be a key player in alert resolution, which entails diagnostics and analytics of the predictive models. In addition, the individual will be responsible for interacting with functional engineering on the findings and following up with the closed out actions. With this program, there is exposure to all of the types of equipment in our operating facilities (i.e. Compressors, Expanders, Pumps, etc.) as well as all types of plants (i.e. Hydrogen and Air Separation facilities). Since this a global program, the individuals may work with the Americas, Asia, and Europe regions on a regular basis. The individual will play an important role in creating and developing innovative ideas to help the program be at the leading edge of Equipment Condition Monitoring. Some other initiatives that the individuals may get involved with include Machine to Machine Comparison, Wireless Sensor Monitoring, Adaptive Modeling, Trend and Pattern Recognition, and High Frequency Data Modeling of Shutdowns and Start-ups.


Principal Responsibilities:

Equipment modeling
Active role in alert resolution
Project management for the implementation of new initiatives within ECM

Required Skills / Abilities:

Education and Licensing Requirements:

B.S. in Engineering or other relevant technical field
3 years of relevant experience
