Healthcare facility bordering Rhode Island looking for extra emergency department coverage this spring!

Schedule:

• Shift types: 7a-3p, 9a-5p, 3p-11p, 5p-1a, 11p-7a
• Start as soon as credentialed - ongoing
  
  
  
  • Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 60 days
  
  

Assignment:

• Volume: 43,000 annual visits, estimated about 100+ patients per day
• Outpatient, adults & some peds
• Support staff: Mid-levels & specialities on call
• EMR: Meditech
• Facility: No trauma designation
• Procedures: Will need to be comfortable handling anything that comes in the ER
  
  
  
  • Higher acuity cases are transferred out
  
  

Requirements:

• Board certified or eligible in emergency medicine
  
  
  
  • Will consider FM candidates with extensive ER experience if they have ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
  
  
• Active MA license & DEA

Travel/Lodging:

• Rental car, flight, and lodging are fully covered!
• Less than 1 hour from an international airport
• Less than 1 hour from Rhode Island
