Job Description

The position is responsible for deploying Lean Manufacturing Excellence for the MRI Magnet Factory by collaborating with the Operations Leadership Team, central Center of Excellence Team, and Direct Labor workforce to transform the current way of working into a mature Lean manufacturing environment.


In this role you will be responsible for:


The role will drive programs related to Lean Manufacturing, Productivity, IWD, Business Transformation, Hoshin, Daily Management, and Problem Solving. The position will lead the Philips Operational Excellence 2.0 program, including lean maturity in areas such as 6S, VSM, Waste Elimination, and other elements of the Toyota Production System.

This position works as part the Operations Management Team, while working closely with all Support Functions and Factory Direct Labor, to ensure all site goals are being met as part of the Integrated Supply Chain.

This role will interact with the site Leadership Team, and other stakeholders as part of the overall MR ISC. While travel is not required, there may be opportunities to team up with the center of excellence team to support deployment involving E2E initiatives that support the MR Business as a whole.


You're the right fit if:


Youve acquired 5+ years of work experience in an Industrial Manufacturing Environment, driving and deploying lean manufacturing initiatives. This is a position of Leadership, whereas you will be asked to transform the Factory into Operational Excellence, not by simply handing out assignments.

Your skills include lean manufacturing certification(s) or equivalent DMAIC or six sigma training. This position will drive Toyota Production System principles, therefore being influential, persuasive, and motivational is critical for the recipient of the change to be willing to accept process improvement.

You have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related field.

Youre a Team Player, comfortable with Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS PowerPoint, as presenting is a must in this role.

Philips Transparency Details


The pay range for this position is $87,500 to $150,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
