Air 7 LLC seeks a Chief Pilot in Camarillo, CA. Job duties include: Supervise all Air 7 flight operations in coordination with the Director of Operations and exercise operational control of aircraft and personnel. Ensure the safety and efficiency of flight schedules and crew assignments as well as the suitability of flight routes and airports. Ensure that flight operations are conducted in accordance with national and international regulations as well as company operating policy. Manage all staffing requirements for Air 7’s fleet of aircraft and conduct, forecast, and schedule trainings for flight crews. Maintain a current operations library, including general operations manuals (GOMs), minimum equipment lists (MELs), aircraft flight manuals (AFMs), navigation databases, and aeronautical chart subscriptions. Must be willing to travel to unanticipated worksites.

Candidates must have at least three years of professional experience working in piloting, avionics, and flight operations within the aviation industry. Must be qualified to serve as pilot-in-command of heavy jet-powered aircraft and must have at least three years of experience piloting BD-700 series aircraft, including 5,500 hours of total flight time and 3,000 hours as pilot-in-command. Must have at least three years of experience overseeing flight operations on an international basis for a Part 135 operator, including transatlantic and transpacific flights. Must have at least three years of experience overseeing and managing flight and duty limits, rostering and supervising dispatch staff, and training and supervising fleet pilots and crew members. Must be willing to travel to unanticipated worksites. Must possess an FAA Airline Transport Pilot license and a First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
