MMA offers a variety of technology solutions to help our clients mitigate and manage risk. Senior Developer will be responsible creating a quality application to solve complex business problems. This position requires mentorship of junior development staff and performing code reviews.


Job Responsibilities:

Write advanced programming code for both front-end and back-end projects
Enhance the security in our backend environment in conjunction with automated scans
Maintain, modify, and scale our AWS environment in conjunction with the external security team.
Analyze the behavior of our applications to find and fix bugs.
Analyze performance of our applications and determine efficiencies
Collaborate with other developers during working sessions
Provide mentoring and best coding practices to other staff
Perform code reviews
Effectively communicate with other functions to develop outstanding products and services for our end customers.


Requirements:

8 years experience in all aspects of software development
CS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
Excellent knowledge of front-end web JavaScript frameworks such as ember.js, Angular and React
Excellent knowledge of back-end programming languages such as go
Experience creating and maintaining databases
Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases a plus
Good interpersonal skills
