SUMMARY
Multinational is going through a transition, in addition to the core goal of providing exceptional client service, the Asia and Global Marsh team are looking for the Multinational team to set the industry best in class standard. We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join a team that will lead by example, driving exceptional client retention, earning a reputation that attracts new clients. The role requires seamless collaboration with Producing Offices, Industry, Specialty, Product Line leaders and In-Country teams. The role is predominantly as the primary client manager for some of Marsh Asias largest and most complex multinational accounts. In addition the position is part of a global community, providing guidance, technical advice and training to colleagues who work on multinational accounts.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management and communication skills, be able to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues alike and have the ability to showcase our value proposition in a compelling way. They will be required to take ownership of flagship Marsh accounts or major prospects and be seen as a subject matter expert both internally and externally. The candidate will be dedicated to Multinational outgoing clients in Asia to strengthen and develop international insurance knowledge across Asia, expanding one of our unique differentiators in the region.
POSITION SCOPE

We will count on you to:

Take personal ownership of a small number of major Multinational accounts.
Identify and pursue new and expanded Multinational business, bringing in the most appropriate colleagues to deliver the strongest possible value proposition.
Working closely with International Regulatory and Tax teams to strengthen technical knowledge on Multinational insurance, to train colleagues in Asia and provide highly professional advice to clients.
Have a strong multinational/ industry led approach, ensuring that Marsh can meet the Technical, Client Management and Placement needs of our prospects.
Form strong working relationships with the wider Marsh teams across the network and cross company with Mercer.
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional and consistent service and identification of potential new sales opportunities. Be involved on all Multinational Strategic planning sessions.
Support Multinational CEs in building their pipelines to identify appropriate prospects and provide guidance on the prospecting process, including support in designing global insurance programmes.
Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct Marsh Global Connect demos.
Present professional, complete, concise and accurate client and prospect plans as required for executive-level presentations.


What you need to have:

At least 10+ years of experience in a client servicing role within a global, highly matrixed organisation. Relevant professional and management experience at senior level within sizable organizations. Minimum VP (or equivalent) in the current job.
Solid corporate experience, especially coming from a B2B environment. Prior experience working in a financial/ insurance broking/ advisory firm is highly desirable.
A proven track record in delivering high quality client service, navigating complex issues and an ability to rapidly generate confidence with clients and colleagues.
Strong project management skills. Prior experience working with large MNCs and running large value, multinational contracts.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage and network in a global environment. Strong gravitas and presence to influence and build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment as well as mentor and train colleagues. Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to connect effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Disciplined and can work autonomously to drive the right business outcomes in a timely manner.
Detail-oriented and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
Tertiary qualifications in Business or Finance related discipline and/ or post graduate qualifications preferred.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English. Preference for another Asian language (Cantonese/ Mandarin/ Japanese/ Korean).
Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, Outlook). Strong IT skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Open to travel across the region.
