We are working with a fast-growing premium sparkling beverage company! They are seeking a National Account Manager. This individual must be a passionate, proven Customer Account leader looking to make a mark with an entrepreneurial company in expansive growth with tremendous personal and business opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity with an eco-friendly company that has doubled in volume in the past two years.

Location: Remote- East Coast-based territory 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 


  • Achieve the sales plan and P&L within your defined Strategic Customers: including volume, net sales, gross margin, & customer trade spend
  • Ability to build win-win joint business plans with customers
  • Develop sales & customer activation plans
  • Effectively manage customers to grow the business & outpace category growth
  • Influence buying decisions and possess superior communication and selling skills
  • Build rapport with key accounts, buyers, and distributors
  • Demonstrate creative out of the box thinking, organization skills, detail-oriented mindset, high collaboration, strong analytical & presentation skills, & ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Align & partner across the organization to drive the sales strategy & execution
  • Analyze data/insights and incorporate learnings into sales pitches and presentations
  • Challenge the status quo and be a change agent within the company

 

Required Skills/Qualifications:  


  • BA/BSc, Mgmt, or relevant post-secondary education
  • 5+ years of CPG Account management experience, with a proven track record of success working with Kroger, AlbsCO, Target, Ahold/Delhaize banners, and others
  • Experience working with regional & national DSD distributors/brokers
  • Experience managing key Customers in Grocery, Mass and Convenience channels
  • Excel proficiency and superb data analysis
  • Strong analytic & technology skills
  • Comfortable achieving objectives and leading the business from both a virtual and on-the-road environment
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
