Records Management - Information Governance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the records management compliance strategy and standard operating procedures. This position will collaborate closely with Business Leadership, Legal & Compliance and Technology to design, develop and implement a records management program and protocols aligned with company policy and regulatory requirements including monitoring ongoing compliance.

Responsible for design, development, and implementation of the records management compliance strategy and ongoing compliance program. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of records management best practices, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Direct day to day records management activities while developing and implementing plans to service the companys expanding footprint. Coordinate with other departments to ensure records are properly classified, stored, and disposed of in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Technology, Business Leadership, Information Security, Legal, Compliance and Privacy to ensure alignment of program with policy and regulatory requirements. Assist with the development and implementation of new technologies for storing and managing records.

We will count on you to:

Build effective working relationships with business partners, external audit partners and senior managers, and MMC Internal Audit leadership. Identify, develop and implement best practices, risk assessment tools, and control programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on records management related issues and concerns to develop and measure the effectiveness of the program and ensure business and function activities algin with the records management program.
Prepare and present reports on record management activities for senior management. Provide training on records management procedures and compliance requirements. Mitigate operational and technological risks by actively supporting the Company's records management activities and maintaining a strong commitment to records and information protection.


What you need to have?

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years of related experience.
Subject matter expertise in managing governance of documents, records and data for an organization.
Experience with using document management systems, records management systems and data management systems.
Experience with developing requirements for information governance capabilities in technology tools used in the legal environment.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,200 to $184,300.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
