Pediatric Cardiac Hospitalists Needed at California Hospital for Day and Night Shifts

Job Description:

Our California Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Hospitalist for ongoing shift coverage.

Schedule:

• Day and night shifts 
• 10 hour day shifts and 16 hour night shifts in the ICU
• Call on weekend and sometimes at night

Practice Setting:

• Children's Hospital
• Board eligible in pediatrics, a cardilogy or pediatric critical care fellowship is preferred but not required

Cases and Procedures:

• Manage patients in the ICU and vent management
• All congenital heart disease – surgical and non, including VAD and ECMO.
• Only expected to work in-house covering front-line ICU patients
• 26-30 patients, physician would cover 3-6 patients during day, and approx. 10 patients per night under 24hr in-house attending supervision
